Hello Everyone!
A little bit longer than 6 weeks but I’ve decided it’s time to return to the weekly blog posts. I’ve found that reading and writing book reviews really did help fuel my writing creativity and I feel that taking a break from that has done more damage than good. There was quite a bit more work required to finish editing the second draft than I initially expected. I had to rewrite roughly a third of the book and I’m still reviewing parts of it. Unfortunately this may mean that my initial target date of publishing The Legend of Nariko: Hellfire Rising by Christmas may not be feasible. That being said, I still aim to publish it by Christmas, but worst case I plan to publish it early 2024 at the latest.
The next post will be continuing the cycle of book review with a follow up analysis on a writing concept that can hopefully help writers improve.
