Author Update – New Editions Coming Out Soon!

Hello Everyone!

August has been a rather rough month as I’ve been dealing with an infection that’s made it rather difficult to concentrate. That being said, some progress has still been made! Editing book 3 has been going well as my editor and I are going through the final draft and I’m hoping to still publish it this holiday season. I’ll need to talk to him to see if it’s a realistic timeline considering how big the book is. It’s not as long as The Goddess Prophecy but it is longer than The Mark of Silverfrost. Ideally I’m hoping to publish it by the holiday season but I also don’t want to rush my editor. He’s been a great help and his insight has been very helpful, but he’s also a busy man and is going quite indepth. I really appreciate his hard work so I don’t feel right trying to rush him. That being said, if there’s any delay I will try and provide an update as soon as I can.

While The Legend of Nariko: Shadows of a Dead World is being edited, I’m also working on the new editions of The Mark of Silverfrost and The Goddess Prophecy. I know it’s been some time but the main issue is my own dissatisfaction with the previous new covers for the second book. I’ve made roughly three of them in total now! But this latest one I’m quite happy with:

This is still subject to slight changes depending on how the proof copies turn out.

I will also be redoing the map within each book and making minor edits to correct some cultural references within each book. I was incorrect in some of my research and I do want to correct that as I plan to really push forward the marketing for this series. I feel as though I’ve been far too lazy in the promotion of The Legend of Nariko which isn’t fair to the series as I’ve spent basically half my life working on this. I want to share this and promote it as best I can and that requires more effort on my part than I’m doing right now. Hoping to get the proof copies in September as I’ll be away in October so that the new editions will be ready for the holiday season.
