Posting Schedule for the Year.

One of the major things I noticed in the previous year was that I never really had an consistent schedule for the articles I posted. Often I would aim for a book review a week but that severely hampered my ability to write and draw as well. Then came the various points in 2021 where my mental state deteriorated and I had to take several breaks to try and recover. Ideally I still want to provide insightful book reviews but also have a schedule of content that is both manageable and enjoyable for everyone.

The aim I want for this blog is to provide insight through book reviews and articles on what makes an engaging story for the majority of people out there. Of course quality is subjective but there are elements to every story that makes it appeal to the most people. I want to try and share my own experiences and thoughts to help my fellow writers to create the very best stories they can create.

To that end, I plan to write my articles in the following schedule:

Week 1 – Book Review
Week 2 – Analysis on the main concept to learn from the book
Week 3 – Book Review
Week 4 – Analysis on the main concept to learn from the book
Week 5 (when applicable) – Progress update on the book I’m currently writing.

I want to expand more on the “What Writers can Learn from this Book” section that I end every book review with. For us writers, reading, watching or just engaging with stories helps us to learn new techniques and styles to convey a more compelling stories. Sometimes it’s even what not to do in stories that fail in one way or another.

I’m hoping to be far more consistent with this schedule and provide much better content than what 2021 was. When we fail, the best thing we can do is learn from those mistakes and keep moving forward to create a better us.

As always, thanks so much for taking the time to read my work and I appreciate it so much!

P.S: Sorry for the lateness in the post! Morning was surprisingly hectic.
