Update and Brief Hiatus

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick update and explanation for a short hiatus. This month I’ve got three weddings to attend and a trip planned and as a result, I don’t think I can give proper book reviews that aren’t rushed. As a result, for the month of September I will be taking a short break from writing book reviews. I will still try and publish posts regarding the creative process in writing, discoveries in self-discipline and focus, and life as a creative.

I also plan to use this time to work on some personal goals for self-improvement. One of my biggest struggles as a creative person, especially in trying to promote my own work, is the amount of anxiety I feel when discussing my work. I am a rather introverted and anxious person though I’ve gotten good at faking the opposite. However it’s come to a point where I can’t nor do I want to fake my own excitement towards my work. I plan to use the month of September to work on my anxiety and feel more confidant interacting with new people and especially in discussing my work.

I also have some news regarding my book series The Legend of Nariko. I’m hoping to release my second book this December! It’s currently with my editors under review and I’m excited to potentially have it ready for the holiday season! I also plan to release the 4th edition of book 1. It’ll have a new cover and a slightly different formatting. Anyone who purchase the previous edition of my book, The Legend of Nariko: The Mark of Silverfrost, can contact me for a free copy of the new edition! If you’ve purchased a paperback copy of the book, please email me at RaphaelTheAuthor@Gmail.com when the new edition of The Legend of Nariko: The Mark of Silverfrost releases and I will arrange for a copy of the new edition to ship to you. I will also be working on releasing a Volume 1 book which will be both Books 1 & 2 combined for a cheaper price.

Thank you all for your support and taking the time to visit my blog! 🙂
