Just a quick sketch and color of two of the main characters of the story I am writing. I like using an anime style mostly because it was the style I learned growing up, though now I’m trying to learn a somewhat more realistic style that still remains somewhat cartoon-ish.
I find that creating concept art helps to visualize the scenes being written. Puts the characters being written about into a solid manifestation.
The method done was quickly sketching the characters out, scanning the image and inking the lines on my Tablet and then finally coloring the image on my Computer using Paintsai
