Hi Everyone!
Originally I was going to post what I had finished for my artwork and bio because I said that I would and I want to keep a consistent schedule. However as I progressed through my usual method of coloring, I started looking up tutorials. I realized that the way I was coloring my work felt unnatural and didn’t live up to the expectations that I had set for myself.
While I was happy with my lineart, I kept feeling unsatisfied with my coloring. Especially when I started looking up coloring tutorials, I felt like I wasn’t doing the best I could. I know I can do better and I don’t want to let my impatience ruin what could end up being a great art piece.
Still I do like what I created and wanted to share it here today. Not only is it a piece that I’ve grown to like but it’s something I want to use as a comparison for the next step in my progress towards becoming a better artist. This portrait will be version 1 and I hope to finish a new version based on what I hope to learn from other artists and professionals.
Here’s the portrait of my character, Asandra The Bloodfire:

After I finish the new version with what I’ve learned about coloring I will also post a short bio and description as well. I do apologize for the delay but I want to do the best possible job I can on this as it means so much to me. I want to give the best possible work that I can and I will strive to do so.
Thank you all for your patience and I do apologize for making you all wait so much.
